Made It In A Day

I never thought it would take so long to drive to Minneapolis. It really doesn’t look that far on a map, but when it was all said and done, it was an 812 mile round trip. I spent just over 12 hours driving (which really isn’t too bad). I made really good time, just under 5 hours from home to the WI-MN border. It was a 2 hour visit at the place we were going and even got an hour or so to stop to have dinner in Minneapolis at an Outback Steakhouse. But I will say, it was really nice not having to sleep in a hotel. There is just something nice about being able to sleep in your own bed, even if it wwas only for about 5 hours.
