Bookends

Every year since Sarah was 5 we took a picture of her on the first day if school, and again on the final day of the school year.  Since this is her final year that means this is her last, last day picture.  So in honor of that I am going to post her first, first day picture next to her last, last day picture.

Every year we took her picture with her best friend, and our next door neighbor, on the front stoop.  It seems like just yesterday we were watching her get onto the bus in her way to Mrs. Sardina's Kindergarten class at Riverside Elementary, worrying if she had her lunch, or remembered her lunch ID number (for hot lunch).  So here they are, first day of Kindergarten and last day of High School.  It sort of brings a tear to my eye.
