Ali found out that she made the varsity cheer team again next year. While the full roster isn’t going to be posted until tomorrow, I am sure she’ll know everyone who made it by the time she goes to school in the morning. I expect that just about everyone who was on the team last year that tired out will make it again. I asked if the coach was planning on having any alternates next year. Last year would have been very helpful to have a full pod of alternates since they didn’t have a full squad for performing until they competed at nationals.
Now Ali will have about a month off before starting practice for next year. In fact, it may be almost exactly a month. I know that she starts practice for next year before this school year is complete for sure. Get ready for another long season.
