YIPPEE!!!

The registration window for WCTC opened up at 7:00 AM this morning, and I am pleased to say that Sarah got her class!  I wasn’t sure if she would get it, because when I dropped off her paperwork on Monday, the administrator I spoke to said that they had a stack of background checks to get thru (and of course, only one person doing it, who just happened to be out on Monday) and assuming she passed the check, they had already approved somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 permits for the CNA classes, of which there are only 90 spots for the summer sessions.  Some of those people are going to be registering for the fall term, but even so, it sounded like it was going to be a longshot.  I was hoping that because Sarah was going to be doing the evening only, one night a week and self-paced internet only class with clinicals on Saturdays that she wouldn’t have as much competition for those spots.  And it looks like that was the case.  This summer is going to be a busy one for her, but at least she’ll be able to start working in her field to some degree, if she wants to look at getting a job, this fall.
