Electricity Resolved

One good thing about being able to talk to an electrician who was updating me on all the things needed to be to code was that I found out I CAN put up cabinets. I was holding off because I wanted to make sure the outlet for the microwave was in the right place and just thought it would be easier to put in if the cabinet was not there. Turns out it is actually easier if it is up (the cabinet). They do it all the time, and they actually have a special adapter/insert that they put in the cabinet to make sure it is flush against the inside (which is what it needs to be to be up to current code).

That means that this weekend, I will be working on getting the remaining cabinets up. Maybe it is a good thing I called an electrician.
