Whiplash Symptoms?

Sarah has been complaining about her hip and back hurting since hitting the wall with her car. She said that she got quite a jolt when the Saturn slammed into the divider. I assumed that she glanced along the concrete divider, but apparently she side swiped it pretty good. I told her to be very careful and take some ibuprofen. I also told her to make sure if the pain got worse, or if she had trouble moving to let me know right away. I have read that whiplash can take time to show up, so in the event she got some serious injuries from hitting the wall she’ll need to know the symptoms. She goes to the doctor for her annual check up in a few days so hopefully she can make it until then, and her doctor can evaluate her.
